I remember when I originally published this strip I had drawn an elbow of pipe sticking out of the Orneryboy-shaped exit hole, connected to those two protruding fittings. I don’t know why, it was just a detail I put in. It made no sense though, because it shouldn’t have remained intact when Ornery broke through the wall. Anyway, I got enough comments about it that I ended up going back and removing it. But I don’t do that sort of thing often. Because I’m STUBBORN.
