The real-life Soya Sauce definitely used up all 9 of his lives during his time. There were the relatively mundane things of course, like bouts of feline respiratory illness and the occasional trips to the vet. But in his middle age years he suffered from feline diabetes, and Jen tended to him tirelessly until she managed to force his symptoms into remission. In his final year, he had to have one of his hind legs amputated due to a nasty infection, yet he adapted to 3-legged life like a champ, still dominating our other cat Miso. He finally succumbed to cancer on February 5, 2015.
