I guess Rod, who is a full-blown zombie now, was in another part of the basement when the hospital was destroyed, otherwise he would’ve either died in the explosion, or Axel would’ve taken care of him with his crutch–guitar–battle axe. He’s going into the sewer now anyway, so at least we won’t have to worry about HIM ever again… Right…?
