Many readers that don’t use the metric system didn’t know what I meant by “20 degrees”, so I remember I had gone back and added the word “Celsius” and put a little asterisk next to it, with a little box at the bottom of the panel that had the equivalent temperature in Fahrenheit… Anyway, I guess I must’ve taken it out at some point, so you know, whatever… He’s just COLD, okay!? Also I think at the time I drew this strip, I hadn’t yet determined where that severed hand had come from; it was just a random thing that Orneryboy had eaten.
