I don’t consider myself to be a very good writer, especially when it comes to writing funny dialogue, but I remember being pleased with how this strip turned out. Reading it again after all these years, it still makes me smile. The language barrier with Brian was always fun to play around with. Looks like he finally got the hang of video games, too!

I borrowed the title of this strip from the film Shaun of the Dead, one of my favourite zombie movies, which had only been out for a couple of months when this strip was first published. I remember around that time being dimly aware that there was a growing wave of zombie pop culture which was fast approaching, and that perhaps this was an opportunity for Orneryboy…

Well, that wave came. It was a fucking TSUNAMI. Orneryboy was swept out to sea. His body was never found.
